Design and refine high-quality visual experiences for a large-scale B2B SaaS platform, ensuring clarity and consistency across data-heavy interfaces through close collaboration with design, product, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual design efforts across product interfaces, maintaining high standards of usability and refinement.
- Apply effective visual hierarchy to complex enterprise UI elements such as tables, dashboards, reports, forms, and multi-step workflows.
- Develop and iterate on high-fidelity UI designs in Figma, including detailed mockups and screens ready for interaction design.
- Design and refine visual assets such as icons, UI patterns, and illustrative components as needed.
- Produce comprehensive visual specifications and documentation in Figma to support engineering implementation.
- Work with Product Designers to enhance user flows through improved layout, consistency, and visual clarity.
- Partner with the Design Systems team to expand and refine reusable components, design tokens, and usage guidelines.
- Identify gaps in the current design system and propose scalable improvements.
- Collaborate with Engineers to ensure accurate translation of designs into code, including participation in design QA and iterative updates.
- Advance accessibility and inclusive design practices by applying proper color contrast, typography, interactive states, and clear visual cues.
- Engage in design critiques and support team growth through thoughtful feedback and mentorship when appropriate.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience in product, visual, or UI design for digital platforms, with a preference for B2B environments.
- A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual design and high-quality UI execution for complex software applications, not limited to marketing materials.
- Proficient in Figma with advanced skills in components, auto layout, styles/tokens, and prototyping.
- Deep understanding of core visual design principles including typography, layout systems, color theory, spacing, and interactive states.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers in an iterative development process.
- Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience designing for diverse user needs related to data presentation and contrast.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for enterprise SaaS platforms or data-intensive applications such as tables, complex forms, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Background contributing to or working within a scaled design system.
- Familiarity with front-end development constraints and collaboration practices, including responsive design and CSS fundamentals.
- Skills in motion design or micro-interactions using tools like Principle, After Effects, or Figma prototyping are beneficial.
- Experience creating visually compelling PowerPoint presentations is considered a bonus.
