This role is central to shaping product direction and go-to-market strategy through data-driven analysis. You will conduct in-depth research into competitor offerings, feature sets, pricing models, and market positioning, transforming complex technical and business information into actionable intelligence. Your insights will directly inform leadership, product development, sales strategy, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze competitor products, roadmaps, and market strategies to identify opportunities and threats
- Develop detailed feature comparisons, product assessments, and technical reports for diverse audiences
- Monitor industry developments, including emerging technologies, funding trends, and analyst insights
- Translate technical capabilities into business-relevant narratives for executives and cross-functional teams
- Maintain and manage internal demo and test environments to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Create realistic test scenarios and data sets that showcase product strengths
- Collaborate with product teams to influence roadmap decisions based on competitive intelligence
- Work with marketing to align messaging with real-world market conditions
- Support sales teams with competitive insights, training, and deal-specific intelligence
- Deliver live demonstrations during webinars, workshops, and customer meetings
- Present findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in product analysis, market research, technical sales, or a related field
- Strong grasp of SaaS, cloud infrastructure, endpoint management, or cybersecurity concepts
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas through presentations and storytelling
- Experience working closely with product, sales, and marketing departments
- Hands-on experience evaluating software and turning technical findings into strategic insights
- Familiarity with IT operations, managed services, or enterprise SaaS environments
- Background managing demo labs or test systems
- Experience using sales enablement tools and supporting customer-facing teams
- Comfort speaking in live events, webinars, or workshops
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on simplifying complex data

Compensation & Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 per year for roles based in California, Colorado, New Jersey, Washington, and New York.
