Shape the future of security and compliance through design. We’re seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the creation of intuitive, scalable experiences for policy management and regulatory compliance within our DevSecOps platform. You’ll take complex technical requirements—like policy configuration, enforcement logic, and audit workflows—and transform them into clear, usable interfaces that serve a range of users, from security specialists to developers integrating compliance into their workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end design for security policy and compliance features, from initial concept through implementation, ensuring solutions are both functional and consistent across the product suite.
- Collaborate with security engineers, product managers, and researchers to understand technical constraints and user needs, then design experiences that simplify governance without sacrificing precision.
- Work across multiple product teams to align on shared patterns, ensuring policy-related features integrate smoothly with vulnerability management, CI/CD pipelines, and scanning tools.
- Design with scalability in mind—balancing reuse of established components from the Pajamas Design System with the need for novel solutions when appropriate.
- Conduct and contribute to usability testing, competitive analysis, and user research to inform design direction and validate decisions.
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate intent and support asynchronous collaboration.
- Document design rationale and decisions to maintain transparency and support long-term iteration.
- Advocate for user experience throughout the development lifecycle, reviewing implementation and guiding teams toward effective, incremental delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing enterprise software, particularly in security, compliance, or developer-focused DevSecOps tools.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving across the full design lifecycle—from research and wireframing to shipped products.
- Ability to distill complex technical workflows into intuitive, user-centered interfaces.
- Experience working within or contributing to a design system, with a keen eye for consistency and scalability.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools, with a commitment to high visual and interaction design standards.
- Experience conducting or collaborating on user research to validate design directions.
- Background working in fully remote, distributed teams with asynchronous communication practices.
