About the Role
Guide the vision and execution of product design across platforms, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals while mentoring a team of designers.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the end-to-end product design strategy
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop user-centered solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Establish and maintain design systems and style guidelines
- Mentor and support the professional growth of design team members
- Facilitate design critiques and promote a culture of feedback
- Translate complex user requirements into clear, intuitive interfaces
- Work closely with stakeholders across departments to align on priorities
- Ensure consistency in visual and interaction design across all platforms
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle
- Lead design sprints and workshops to accelerate ideation
- Integrate accessibility standards into design processes
- Monitor industry trends to keep the product experience modern and relevant
- Balance innovation with technical feasibility and business objectives
- Present design concepts and rationale to executives and cross-functional leads
- Iterate on designs based on qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Manage timelines and deliverables for design projects
- Partner with marketing and UX writing teams to ensure cohesive messaging
- Support the scaling of design operations as the team grows
