Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shift operations, including workflow coordination, staffing levels, and team performance to ensure production targets are met.
- Mentor and develop junior supervisors, team leads, and training personnel to strengthen frontline leadership capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards including GMP, ISO 13485, and FDA Quality System Regulations.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators such as output, yield, scrap rates, and operational efficiency.
- Lead investigations into process deviations and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to address production challenges.
- Uphold safety protocols, conduct incident reviews, and ensure compliance with safety training requirements.
- Serve as the primary communication link between plant floor teams and senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, production output, and operational data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean methodologies, 5S, standardized work, and waste elimination.
- Support compliance with Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and regulatory standards.
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and lead cross-functional resolution teams.
- Enhance product quality, labor productivity, and production throughput using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Focus on operator development, training effectiveness, attendance oversight, overtime planning, and staff retention.
