Social Discovery Group is hiring a Private Finance Manager

Oversee the financial operations tied to personal and privately held assets, delivering accurate monthly accounting and performance reporting. You'll handle payment execution across multiple channels—including bank accounts, credit cards, and crypto wallets—ensuring all transactions are properly documented and reconciled in the ERP system.

What You'll Do

  • Track and categorize personal expenses and asset-related costs, maintaining clear records and reporting variances between budget and actuals by the 15th of each month
  • Process payment requests from Family Office staff and the UBO using various financial instruments, with full traceability and control
  • Reconcile bank statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, and verify staff advance reports
  • Maintain custody and limits of personal financial tools such as credit cards, phones, and crypto wallets
  • Monitor and renew legal documents like notarized powers of attorney and safe deposit access
  • Support treasury operations during peak periods, potentially including up to two business trips per year
  • Identify and implement improvements in expense workflows, accounting practices, and reporting systems
  • Communicate regularly with contractors and internal staff on payment terms, documentation, and financial performance

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and structured reporting
  • Proven experience with multi-currency payments, bank operations, and payment tracking
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles: expense classification, allocation, and month-end procedures
  • Confident user of ERP systems and crypto wallets, with awareness of network fees, confirmations, and security practices
  • Ability to prepare concise, insight-driven financial summaries for senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong attention to clarity and tone
  • Background in travel coordination and executive support roles
