Responsibilities
- Interact with clients to collect project details and convert them into clear production, kitting, and shipping instructions.
- Suggest process enhancements to clients when appropriate to improve efficiency and outcomes for both parties.
- Conduct quality checks on work prepared by other production staff to confirm completeness and accuracy prior to manufacturing.
- Input and validate job data in production systems, ensuring correct scheduling and workflow placement.
- Maintain regular contact with clients during production to update progress, request missing details, and manage changes.
- Distribute and review proofs with clients and secure approvals for elements such as artwork, color accuracy, and ink samples.
- Coordinate component production with internal facilities or third-party suppliers as needed.
- Manage resolution of client or production-related issues by collaborating with relevant departments to identify root causes.
- Advise leadership on suitable responses to complex issues that balance client needs and company interests.
- Communicate resolution plans and updates directly to affected clients.
- Support pre-sales activities by explaining production capabilities and requirements for potential projects.
- Track job progress through all stages, consult with operations on quantities and final outputs, and verify compliance with specifications.
- Compile final production counts and documentation required for invoicing.
- Provide guidance to junior production staff or contribute to special assignments as needed.
- Determine necessary materials and paper stocks for jobs, including sourcing from external vendors when required.
- Support sales during the RFP phase by providing production estimates and planning efficient workflows.
- Handle composition or copy preparation tasks for client materials when applicable.
- Perform additional duties and participate in special initiatives as assigned.
