TE Connectivity is hiring a Principle Project Manager Engineer

About the Role

TE Connectivity is looking for a Principal Project Manager Engineer to balance technical portfolio planning with hands-on project management. You will partner across business units to develop and communicate integrated advanced technology and manufacturing process roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Partner across business units and stakeholder groups to help develop, maintain, and communicate integrated advanced technology and manufacturing process roadmaps.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of new project management tools and best practices.
  • Facilitate advanced technology governance forums.
  • Support administration of the quarterly technology awards program.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of professional experience.
  • 5–6 years of project management experience in a commercial environment focused on hardware development for AI, datacenter, or telecom applications.
  • Project management certification (PMP, CSM, MPM, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Stage-Gate processes for technology development.
  • Hands-on exposure to one or more manufacturing processes, such as molding, stamping, plating, or high-speed cable and cable assembly manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools and experience in roadmap and portfolio management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading multicultural teams, as well as mentoring/coaching or directly supervising project managers.
  • Proven ability to lead external technical partnerships and drive technology insertion into product development and manufacturing organizations.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $161,200 - $185,000.
