Responsibilities
- Acts as a technical expert for either iOS or Android platforms, offering strategic guidance and direct development support to advance organizational objectives for the mobile application.
- Helps shape the future technical direction of the mobile platform by contributing to target architecture decisions and advising on roadmap priorities.
- Participates actively in the Mobile Platform Team, delivering high-impact code while leading key architectural and framework projects.
- Serves as the main technical liaison for mobile in strategic company initiatives, attending meetings to collect requirements and provide mobile-specific technical insights.
- Translates business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile application designs that align with platform standards.
- Bridges communication between project stakeholders and mobile engineering teams, ensuring clear dissemination of technical decisions, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborates with senior engineers, engineering directors, enterprise architects, and technical leads to guide solution design for major features and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ensures adherence to architectural and security standards while promoting high-quality deliverables across teams.
- Conducts code reviews, mentors developers, and recommends improvements in workflows, tools, and engineering practices.
- Leads cross-platform technical discussions, integrating both Android and iOS perspectives into design decisions and execution planning.
- Evaluates architectural trade-offs and ensures balanced implementation approaches across mobile platforms.
- Maintains deep expertise in the latest OS capabilities and ecosystem developments from Apple or Google.
- Explores emerging tools, frameworks, and industry trends to identify potential applications within the mobile platform.
- Initiates and leads proof-of-concept projects to assess new technologies against business goals and technical constraints.
- Shares knowledge with internal and external engineering communities to elevate technical capabilities and awareness.
