About the Role
The Principal Software Architect will define and maintain product-level software structures with an emphasis on quality, scalability, and reuse, leveraging deep expertise in embedded systems and connectivity. Working within the Luxury Engineering team, the role involves shaping technical direction across platforms while collaborating with hardware, software, and product groups. Support is provided by corporate systems engineering, platform architects, and development engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and define software architecture for premium audio devices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, product, and external partners to deliver high-end audio experiences
- Develop modular, reusable software frameworks that enhance development speed and long-term maintainability
- Enable seamless integration of Bluetooth and WiFi-enabled devices with mobile platforms and digital ecosystems
- Promote and enforce best practices in system design, code integrity, performance optimization, and reliability
- Assess emerging technologies and industry trends in high-fidelity audio to guide strategic tooling and platform decisions
- Coach and mentor engineering teams to cultivate technical excellence and strong ownership of deliverables
