Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the SDET team with technical direction and expertise.
- Partner with development and quality engineering groups to embed testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Build and sustain test automation frameworks and architectures that are both scalable and efficient.
- Work alongside developers to create unit and integration tests using their preferred tools.
- Ensure automation frameworks accommodate functional, integration, and performance testing needs.
- Support junior SDETs through mentorship, technical coaching, and career growth guidance.
- Deliver training programs to strengthen the testing team's capabilities.
- Promote a team environment rooted in innovation, teamwork, and ongoing learning.
- Work with multiple teams to create detailed and effective test planning strategies.
- Manage and supervise test case execution, verifying full coverage of functional and non-functional criteria.
- Evaluate test outcomes and deliver actionable feedback to enhance software quality.
- Engage with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and user stories.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication about testing status and critical issues.
- Create, update, and manage test scripts within the existing automation framework across release stages.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives to keep automation tools aligned with evolving product needs.
- Review peers' test code and automation designs to ensure quality and consistency.
