Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier foundry quality performance to meet organizational standards and safeguard customer satisfaction and revenue streams.
- Drive high-level quality outcomes from primary foundry partners and promote ongoing enhancements in line with company and quality goals.
- Launch SCAPA/8D investigations for foundry-related quality issues and lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Track process capability metrics (Cpk) and defect rates from external foundries, pushing for performance that meets or surpasses established benchmarks.
- Work jointly with foundry suppliers and internal engineering teams to improve yield, process stability, capability metrics, defect control, outlier identification, process modifications, and test coverage.
- Manage supplier Process Change Notices (PCNs) in coordination with engineering and sourcing, ensuring adherence to TRB and CCB protocols and full documentation closure.
- Conduct routine audits of supplier processes, products, and quality management systems.
- Support internal and third-party audit initiatives as the designated supplier quality representative.
- Keep current and accurate records within the internal quality system, including corrective actions, change orders, supplier data, audit results, PCNs, alerts, waivers, and non-conformance reports.
- Create and monitor Foundry Quality scorecards during Supplier Development Reviews to assess performance trends.
- Regularly update the Foundry Quality Dashboard to reflect current quality metrics and progress.
- Engage in the introduction of new technologies and products at the foundry level, supporting clean launch data collection and readiness.
