AECOM is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering teams in delivering healthcare and education sector projects within defined quality, schedule, and budget parameters
  • Manage tender processes, client interactions, and represent the organization in meetings and selection interviews
  • Guide and develop early-career engineers while coordinating collaboration across multiple disciplines
  • Supervise BIM and Revit-based design workflows to ensure fully integrated and compliant technical solutions
  • Oversee allocation of project resources, quality assurance protocols, statutory submissions, and coordination with contractors
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical building services design for healthcare and education facilities
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Currently progressing toward chartered professional engineering status
