Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of fire protection systems from initial concept through detailed design and construction support to commissioning.
- Deliver expert technical guidance on wet and dry fire systems such as hydrants, hose reels, sprinklers, alternative and gas-based suppression technologies.
- Ensure all designs meet requirements under the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and relevant regulatory bodies.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, building relationships and supporting business growth and project acquisition.
- Guide and develop junior engineers, enhancing team-wide technical expertise and supporting professional advancement.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and specialist disciplines to integrate fire protection into comprehensive building solutions.
- Support the development of national fire protection strategies, technical guidelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.
