Responsibilities
- Lead long-term, organization-wide technical strategy across multiple teams and silicon initiatives
- Develop system-level architectures for AI accelerator SoCs in alignment with strategic goals
- Make critical technical decisions in uncertain environments and secure organizational alignment
- Guide system and micro-architectural specifications through to robust RTL implementation
- Deliver complex, high-risk silicon programs on aggressive timelines
- Lead silicon validation, bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis of hardware issues
- Collaborate with architecture, verification, physical design, software, product, and DFT teams
- Translate engineering capabilities into product roadmaps and tangible customer benefits
- Identify and act on cross-functional opportunities beyond individual team boundaries
- Define and enforce standards for RTL quality, reuse, and design review processes
- Set benchmarks for engineering rigor, processes, and execution excellence
- Implement methods to assess and report customer impact of technical work
- Mentor senior engineers and provide direct, actionable feedback
- Amplify knowledge through documentation, technical talks, and guidance
- Recruit and onboard senior engineering talent in collaboration with leadership
- Drive business results through influence and cross-team leadership
- Prioritize organizational success over individual team interests
- Communicate effectively, lead challenging decisions, and promote bold, accountable action
