Responsibilities

  • Plans and oversees technical work while ensuring quality standards are met through structured reviews.
  • Shares specialized knowledge across the organization through presentations and internal technical exchanges.
  • Leads the creation of high-caliber design deliverables for complex projects.
  • Capable of performing detailed design tasks independently when necessary.
  • May supervise staff, including mentoring, tracking time, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Actively contributes to the technical growth and capability building of assigned team members.
  • Supports leadership by assigning tasks and guiding junior engineers to meet project goals.
  • Tracks and manages budget performance for defined project components.
  • Prepares technical specifications and feasibility assessments, enhancing design value.
  • Conducts quality assurance checks on calculations and drawings, serving as Lead Verifier to confirm alignment with client requirements.
  • Delivers expert-level input in specialized technical domains during studies and design phases.
  • Serves as an internal authority on specific engineering technologies or processes.
  • Develops innovative solutions to difficult engineering challenges by creating new methodologies when standard approaches are insufficient.
  • Independently selects and applies established engineering practices to complete assignments.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency, and design quality through process innovation.
  • Collaborates with technical teams to validate project strategies and ensure deliverables meet scope and budget constraints.
  • Interacts with regulatory bodies to secure permits and discuss technical aspects of projects.
  • Addresses and resolves complex technical conflicts and coordination issues.
  • Produces cost estimates for construction and forecasts engineering effort in man-hours.
  • Provides direct design support to teams, including hands-on modeling and documentation.
  • Brings advanced technical insight and innovation to challenging design efforts.
  • Assists in preparing technical proposals for project bids.
  • Leads small to medium-sized projects within a specific discipline as Project Manager.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of project execution standards and company-specific delivery protocols.
  • Proficient in applying Earned Value Management principles to monitor design progress against financial and schedule benchmarks.
