About the Role

This role involves leading the design and implementation of electrical systems for large-scale industrial and resource-based projects, providing technical expertise and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of electrical designs for industrial facilities
  • Oversee technical quality of engineering deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution

  • Perform site assessments and field reviews
  • Develop specifications for electrical equipment
  • Evaluate new technologies for project applicability
  • Lead design reviews and risk assessments
  • Ensure designs meet safety and sustainability goals
  • Prepare and present technical reports
  • Support construction phase with design clarification
  • Troubleshoot electrical system issues during implementation
  • Integrate automation and control system requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends

  • Work within project governance frameworks
