Lead ecological expertise within a forward-thinking team dedicated to sustainable development. As a Principal Ecologist, you will manage end-to-end delivery of ecological assessments and advisory services across power, transport, renewables, and environmental projects. Your role will center on technical excellence, ensuring compliance and innovation in every phase of project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of ecological projects, aligning resources, timelines, and budgets with client and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and review ecology components of environmental statements and species licence applications, ensuring accuracy and defensibility
  • Provide technical oversight on reports and studies, maintaining high standards across deliverables
  • Design practical, science-based solutions to complex ecological constraints
  • Contribute to the growth of technical capability through knowledge sharing and mentorship
