Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain long-term client relationships while ensuring exceptional satisfaction and adherence to quality standards for accurate deliverables
- Lead and guide a tax team consisting of a senior tax manager and three tax accountants
- Develop personal and corporate tax planning strategies and adjust client payroll settings to align with financial objectives
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with precision
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate team effectiveness, ensure regulatory compliance, and support data-informed decisions
- Address tax notices from government agencies related to income, payroll, and other tax matters for both individuals and businesses
- Generate tax forecasts, conduct scenario analyses, and utilize tax software for modeling and planning
- Investigate federal and state-level income, payroll, and sales tax regulations to support compliance and planning
- Respond to client questions on tax reporting, planning, and strategic considerations
- Advise clients on optimal business structures and assist with legal entity formation from a tax perspective
- Analyze and recommend tax-efficient compensation, retirement, and employee incentive frameworks
- Support clients in identifying and applying for relevant government tax programs or grant opportunities
