AECOM is hiring a Principal Clean Water Modeller

As a Principal Clean Water Modeller, you will lead the development and execution of hydraulic modelling solutions for water utility infrastructure. Working within a broad water team, you will contribute to network model creation, calibration, and performance analysis across public and private sector projects in the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced hydraulic modelling input for water distribution and supply networks
  • Lead model calibration, scenario testing, and system performance evaluations
  • Support asset management strategies and long-term planning initiatives
  • Contribute to water resource strategy and growth acceleration projects
  • Guide technical direction and mentor team members to strengthen modelling capabilities
  • Help shape team development and expand service delivery in the water sector

Qualifications and Experience

Successful candidates will have extensive experience in hydraulic and network modelling for water utilities, with a history of delivering technical projects for municipal and private clients. Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines is essential. Leadership experience in guiding technical teams and influencing strategic direction is highly valued.
