Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation of backend services for collaboration features
- Design systems that support real-time data synchronization and team interactions
- Collaborate with frontend teams to define APIs and ensure smooth integration
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
- Enforce security standards across data access and user permissions
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Drive best practices in testing, deployment, and observability
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks for long-term maintainability
- Work closely with product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery of critical platform components
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
- Improve developer tooling and CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to cross-team technical strategy and platform roadmaps
- Promote reusable service patterns and internal frameworks
- Monitor system health and proactively address technical debt
- Support integration with third-party services and APIs
- Help define metrics for system reliability and feature adoption
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
- Foster collaboration between engineering, design, and product teams
