Workday is hiring a Principal Absence Time Tracking Scheduling Functional Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Lead successful deployment of cloud-based absence, time tracking, and scheduling systems using deep product and implementation knowledge.
  • Analyze client business needs, configure system settings, build demonstration prototypes, and support client testing efforts.
  • Collaborate with clients to migrate historical data into the new platform accurately and efficiently.
  • Support integration specialists in setting up and validating data flows between the platform and external or custom systems.
  • Apply standardized implementation practices consistently across all customer engagements.
  • Guide clients to adopt pre-built, proven configurations to maximize value and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to fellow consultants to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Contribute to positive project results and long-term client satisfaction through reliable delivery and partnership.

Compensation

Base salary range for the primary location is $147,400–$221,100 USD; additional U.S. locations range from $133,300–$236,800 USD. Compensation varies by location, experience, skills, and business needs. Eligible for bonus and stock grants.

Work Arrangement

Combines remote work with in-person collaboration; requires spending at least 50% of each quarter in the office or with clients, enabling flexibility while supporting team connectivity and productivity.
