Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run gravure or multi-color offset printing equipment to produce single, two, or multi-color prints with exacting color accuracy and registration, including solid fills, screen tints, line work, and halftones.
- Analyze job orders to determine proper press configuration based on sheet layout, whether sheet-wise or work-and-turn.
- Complete all pre-production setup tasks specific to the press type, including mounting plates or installing cylinders.
- Inspect plates and cylinders for defects and verify correct image alignment.
- Prepare press blankets, and adjust tension and registration settings as needed.
- Make color corrections and mechanical adjustments before and during runs to ensure output meets quality standards.

- 12-hour rotating day shift schedule from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain gravure or multi-color offset presses.
- Perform all pre-production tasks related to press operation, including plate mounting or cylinder installation.
- Inspect plates and cylinders for flaws and confirm accurate image placement.
- Prepare blankets and adjust tension and registration settings.
- Make required color or mechanical adjustments before production begins.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform routine press maintenance.
- Conduct minor repairs and replace damaged or worn components as necessary.
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as specified by equipment manufacturers.
