Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and operate various types of printing press machinery
- Complete all preparatory tasks for press operations, including mounting plates or installing cylinders
- Inspect plates and cylinders for defects and verify accurate image placement
- Prepare press blankets by setting proper tension and alignment
- Adjust color settings and press parameters before and during runs to meet quality standards
- Keep equipment clean, apply lubrication, and conduct minor repairs or part replacements as needed
- Follow manufacturer guidelines for scheduled maintenance tasks
- Guide and support both new and current team members through training and mentorship
- Maintain and share knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and best practices to boost team efficiency
