Responsibilities
- Configure, calibrate, and run single or multi-color offset printing equipment
- Complete all setup procedures for the specific press, including mounting plates or cylinders, verifying image alignment, inspecting components for defects, preparing blankets, and setting proper tension and registration
- Adjust color settings and press parameters before production to ensure output meets quality standards
- Clean, oil, and service the press, conduct minor fixes, and replace damaged or worn components as needed
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines
