The engineer will collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements, design solution demonstrations, and provide technical guidance throughout the pre-purchase phase.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client business challenges
- Translate customer requirements into technical demonstrations
- Deliver live product presentations and virtual proof-of-concept setups
- Configure and customize demo environments to match client use cases
- Respond to technical inquiries during the sales process
- Work closely with development teams to relay customer feedback
- Document common objections and develop technical rebuttals
- Support the creation of reusable sales enablement materials
- Participate in RFP responses with accurate technical details
- Stay current on product roadmap and upcoming features
- Identify integration needs and coordinate with engineering
- Troubleshoot demo-specific issues in real time
- Assist in defining solution boundaries and scalability options
- Maintain deep knowledge of AI and machine learning capabilities
- Ensure technical claims align with actual product functionality
