Role Overview
As a Presales Engineer, you'll play a key role in accelerating partner-led sales by delivering insightful, tailored demonstrations of our cloud-based ERP solution. You’ll work closely with sales teams and channel partners to uncover customer needs, translate business processes into technical understanding, and showcase how our platform aligns with their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in core ERP functions—especially financials and accounting—with optional specialization in industry-specific solutions
- Map customer workflows across sales, ordering, fulfillment, and reporting to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
- Design and present compelling demonstrations that reflect real-world business scenarios and measurable outcomes
- Train and mentor new partners on software capabilities, discovery techniques, and effective demo delivery
- Create reusable assets such as discovery templates, presentation decks, and demo scripts to ensure consistent messaging
- Support thought leadership through webinars, training sessions, and content contributions that position the platform as a leader for mid-sized businesses
- Collaborate with sales to address technical questions, overcome objections, and advance deals to close
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business and demonstrate a solid grasp of mid-market financial operations. Prior experience showcasing enterprise software—particularly ERP or CRM systems—is essential. You must be comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, skilled at simplifying technical concepts, and driven to support sales success. Public speaking or instructional experience is highly valued. An MBA or CPA credential, along with hands-on ERP implementation experience, will strengthen your application. Some travel (10%–20%) is expected.
