PointClickCare is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to provide strategic technical leadership. You will define the architectural vision and roadmap, ensuring our enterprise platforms are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business goals.
What You'll Do
- Define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmap
- Lead the design and review of critical system architectures and integrations
- Establish and evangelize architectural principles, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to align technical direction with business objectives
- Analyze and mitigate architectural risks and technical debt across the portfolio
- Mentor senior engineers and architects on design and architectural thinking
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture
- Proven track record as a Lead or Principal Architect for a large-scale enterprise SaaS platform
- Deep expertise in designing and modernizing cloud-native, distributed, and microservices-based systems
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with modern software development practices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps
Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare technology or health IT sector
- Background with enterprise application integration and data interoperability standards
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and security regulations
