Responsibilities
- Deliver podiatric services to elderly and underserved populations in mobile settings
- Manage foot health for patients with diabetes
- Assess risk of falls and implement preventive strategies
- Recommend solutions to reduce pressure-related foot issues
- Treat wounds and ulcers of venous, traumatic, and pressure origin
- Diagnose and manage pain in the heel, ankle, and foot
- Perform nail care including trimming, debridement, and removal
- Offer standard foot and nail maintenance services

Full office support including a Care Coordination team handling all consents, pre-authorizations, patient scheduling, post op and IT support
Dedicated team manages patient consents, insurance pre-authorizations, appointment coordination, post-procedure follow-up, and IT needs
Field support and mentorship from Clinical Director
On-site guidance and professional mentorship available from the Clinical Director
Travel required to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
Regular travel to healthcare facilities providing skilled nursing and extended care services
Work involves using EMR system for notes and charting
Daily use of electronic medical records for documentation and patient charting required
