ActioNet, Inc. is hiring a PMO Program Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale IT projects and multi-project programs across the organization
  • Act as the main contact for program performance, delivery updates, and status reporting to stakeholders
  • Design and manage governance structures, policies, procedures, and performance indicators for the PMO
  • Oversee portfolios focused on enterprise modernization and confirm they support strategic goals and mission outcomes
  • Advise executive leadership, including CIO and CTO roles, on strategic direction and program priorities
  • Ensure adherence to federal compliance frameworks such as OMB A-11, OMB A-123, and FITARA
  • Define, promote, and enforce standardized project management practices, methods, and procedures across teams
  • Manage financial aspects of programs including budgeting, resource planning, scheduling, and fiscal accountability
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and address project and program risks while maintaining delivery continuity
  • Coordinate collaboration among cross-functional teams spanning multiple departments and technical domains
  • Perform assessments of systems and programs to identify opportunities for operational and technical enhancements
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as project plans, governance records, and performance summaries
  • Build and deploy performance monitoring tools, dashboards, and executive briefings for decision support
  • Ensure all activities meet security protocols, regulatory mandates, and internal organizational policies
  • Lead initiatives to improve PMO capabilities, maturity, and overall operational efficiency
  • Stay current with evolving project management trends, tools, and methodologies in the industry
  • Represent the PMO in high-level planning discussions, governance forums, and leadership decisions
  • Coach and lead project managers and PMO personnel to strengthen skills and adoption of best practices
