Responsibilities
- Manage cloud resources including compute, networking, identity, and security using code-based infrastructure practices
- Oversee containerized workloads with focus on cluster maintenance, deployment workflows, and dynamic scaling
- Develop and sustain automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, including testing and quality enforcement
- Lead observability initiatives by enhancing monitoring, alerting, log management, and distributed tracing systems
- Strengthen cloud security through posture assessments, automated vulnerability checks, access controls, and compliance support
- Operate infrastructure across multiple cloud providers to ensure resilience and flexibility
- Maintain event-driven messaging systems with reliable retry mechanisms and dead-letter handling
- Enable fast regional rollouts by creating standardized, reusable infrastructure deployment patterns
- Participate in incident response on rotation and lead post-mortem analyses to prevent recurrence
- Define technical vision for the platform team, including roadmap planning, vendor evaluations, and engineering standards
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with engineers to provide guidance, remove obstacles, and support career development
- Oversee code review processes across platform-related repositories to ensure consistency, quality, and knowledge sharing
- Maintain high delivery speed by prioritizing tasks, unblocking progress, and ensuring reliable releases
- Foster team growth by cultivating a supportive environment where engineers can excel
- Assist broader engineering teams with infrastructure expertise, troubleshooting, and self-service solutions
- Partner with product and engineering leaders to align infrastructure strategy with business goals
- Support recruitment efforts by evaluating candidates for platform engineering roles as the team scales
