Responsibilities

  • Assess existing Keycloak infrastructure and current authentication and authorization processes
  • Create and deploy integration solutions between Keycloak and a new Identity Provider using SAML, OIDC, or similar standards
  • Build and carry out detailed test strategies to verify authentication functions including single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, logout, and token renewal
  • Evaluate role-based access controls and permission handling in the updated environment
  • Confirm federated identity setup and consistent user data synchronization across platforms
  • Troubleshoot and fix integration problems involving communication protocols, digital certificates, and attribute mappings
  • Conduct performance evaluations under load to ensure authentication systems meet scalability requirements
  • Record system architecture designs, configuration settings, and diagnostic methods
  • Work with security and IT departments to ensure access control policies are properly aligned

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate authentication scenarios (SSO, MFA, logout, token refresh)
  • Test authorization flows and role/permission management in the new environment
  • Validate identity federation and user synchronization between systems
  • Identify and resolve integration issues related to protocols, certificates, attribute mappings
  • Perform load testing to validate authentication system performance
  • Document integration architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Collaborate with security and IT teams to align access policies
