Responsibilities
- Collaborate with plastics manufacturers to assess production challenges and recommend suitable automation systems
- Conduct on-site evaluations to determine optimal integration of equipment into existing processes
- Present technical capabilities of machinery to engineering and operations teams
- Develop sales proposals tailored to customer specifications and production goals
- Coordinate with internal engineering departments to customize solutions
- Track regional market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales forecasts in CRM systems
- Support product demonstrations and trial installations
- Provide post-sale technical follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Attend industry trade shows and technical seminars to expand network
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing facilities
- Assist in training customer personnel on system operation and maintenance
- Respond to technical inquiries from prospects and existing clients
- Work closely with distribution partners where applicable
- Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards during installations
- Monitor contract timelines and delivery schedules
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades or retrofits
- Deliver feedback from field experience to product development teams
- Prepare technical documentation for customer use
- Manage multiple accounts across a defined geographic territory
