Responsibilities
- Produce monthly financial performance reports, forecasts, annual operating plans, and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Oversee internal control frameworks across plant operations, sales, and finance functions.
- Analyze and deliver accurate monthly financial results to plant, sales, and corporate leadership in compliance with corporate standards and deadlines.
- Submit financial data, transactions, and reports accurately and on schedule.
- Verify physical inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies between book records and physical counts.
- Conduct audits of bills of materials to validate product costing integrity and submit monthly findings.
- Ensure timely updates to bills of materials and pricing codes.
- Maintain alignment between production processes and cost accounting through accurate bill of material and costing records.
- Manage a continuous inventory tracking system for finished goods and reconcile daily with production, shipping, and return data.
- Attend daily production meetings at the plant facility.
- Conduct daily plant walkthroughs with the Plant Manager to assess production efficiency and cost performance, including labor, materials, overhead, distribution, returns, and inventory.
- Lead structured meetings with manufacturing, finance, and sales leaders to evaluate plant performance; prepare agendas, summaries, and action plans.
- Review inventory monthly to identify potential excess or obsolete items.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of inter-company financial accounts.
- Evaluate internal controls to protect assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and consult with corporate finance on GAAP-related matters and control issues.
- Support special projects as needed.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $108,000 - $146,000
