Responsibilities
- Lead planning initiatives for EMEA markets, ensuring consistent application of best practices across all regions.
- Introduce innovative approaches and technological solutions in planning to enhance client reputation and performance.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in media channels, ecosystems, and industry-standard planning methodologies.
- Partner with regional strategy leads to align planning execution with overarching strategic goals for client briefs and pitches.
- Master internal and external research and planning tools to deeply understand consumers, market dynamics, and client opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of media markets, emerging trends, and key media owner relationships.
- Provide commercially sound planning recommendations that align with client objectives and optimize budget efficiency.
- Develop strong awareness of business operations and agency functions beyond planning.
- Cultivate senior-level relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities.
- Supervise team members, manage workloads, and allocate resources effectively across active projects.
- Lead multi-market communication strategies in collaboration with local planning teams and the Regional Planning Director to promote excellence and innovation.
- Craft compelling planning narratives and presentations that align teams and advance client goals.
- Create tailored communication materials suited to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Encourage innovation by challenging assumptions and co-developing new planning methods and products.
- Solve complex planning challenges independently by analyzing data and applying experience-based insights.
- Foster a culture of analytical thinking and problem-solving within the team.
- Lead data-driven marketing campaigns for Amazon, integrating Amazon and WPP technologies as needed.
- Leverage WPP Open and advanced tools to standardize high-quality planning, organize workflows, and track performance for optimization.
- Collaborate with WPP and Amazon teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and strong outcomes.
- Establish clear performance metrics to assess campaign success and inform future planning improvements.
- Support a culture of innovation by exploring new marketing technologies and advising stakeholders on evolving trends.
- Stay informed on industry developments, especially in reputation management, e-commerce, and digital marketing.
