IXL Learning is seeking a Physics Content Writer to join our science content development team. In this role, you'll create engaging and accurate instructional content for high school physics courses, working closely with editors and curriculum designers to produce effective online learning materials.
What You'll Do
- Research informational topics of interest to a high school-aged audience
- Write sentences, paragraphs, and longer passages for use in online activities
- Craft questions, answers, and explanations based on established guidelines and samples
- Adhere to conventions in The Chicago Manual of Style and an in-house style guide
- Accept and implement feedback to refine content
What We're Looking For
- A BS degree in physics or a related field
- Familiarity with content covered in standard high school physics courses
- Exceptional writing skills, including a finely tuned sense of English grammar and usage
- Strong critical-thinking, research, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to be efficient and organized while working on multiple projects
Nice to Have
- Experience writing or teaching K-12 science content
