Responsibilities
- Carry out therapy plans created by licensed Physical Therapists, using methods such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and physical agents like heat, cold, or electrical stimulation.
- Monitor how patients respond to treatment, record changes in their condition, and communicate observations and issues to the overseeing Physical Therapist.
- Maintain accurate and current records of patient reactions to therapy, track improvements, and share updates with the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on proper exercise execution, safety measures, and home-based strategies to support recovery.
- Assist Physical Therapists in assessing patient needs and tracking progress by offering additional clinical observations and feedback.
- Work with professionals across disciplines to support coordinated and effective patient care.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervising staff.
