Nexstar Media Inc. is hiring a Photographer I, Nightside/Weekend to operate television and video cameras for live newsgathering in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal for capturing and transmitting images for news reports.
What You'll Do
- Cover general news assignments utilizing electronic video camera, cell phone, editing equipment, and other relevant equipment
- Operate live ENG remote newsgathering equipment
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of various media formats and camera equipment
- Ability to work overtime and extra hours
- Ability to work several different shifts
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to be available and respond quickly to breaking news
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas of news operations as needed
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as job requires
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs of equipment
- Clean motor vehicle record, ability to drive, proof of insurance
- Online link to work samples, including videography and editing preferably in a news setting
- No still photography
- Flexibility to work any shift
