Endeavor Health is hiring a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician: Moms Line-2

About the Role

This role supports individuals navigating perinatal mental health concerns through a dedicated phone hotline. Each interaction emphasizes emotional validation, thorough clinical assessment, and collaborative development of a personalized action plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound calls and conduct outreach to patients who screen positive for depression using standardized tools
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, including evaluation of mood symptoms, risk factors, and personal strengths
  • Directly address safety concerns, including suicidal thoughts or behaviors, with clinical sensitivity and clarity
  • Identify and connect callers with appropriate resources such as therapy, medication management, or emergency services
  • Build rapport by recognizing individual resilience and involving callers in decision-making about next steps
  • Document all assessments and outreach within 24 hours, following program protocols
  • Consult with program leadership on complex cases and participate in scheduled team meetings
  • Maintain compliance with all Perinatal Depression Program policies and procedures

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a mental health field and possess one of the following credentials: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Advanced Practice Nurse with Controlled Substance registration (APNCS), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. A minimum of three years of experience in mental health services is required. Clinicians must demonstrate strong telephone communication skills, emotional stability when working with distressed individuals, and a solid understanding of perinatal mood disorders as acute psychological events.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with required availability across rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, to ensure 24/7 coverage. The schedule includes weekends to support continuous access to care. Clinicians must be able to work independently while maintaining timely documentation and communication with supervisory staff.

The hourly rate ranges from $30.46 to $45.69, commensurate with experience. The organization offers retirement savings with company match, health and wellness benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, pet insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and holiday pay.
