Responsibilities
- Build and optimize advanced onboard machine learning models for multimodal, multitask perception systems
- Create customized model components, such as layers and loss functions, to enhance accuracy on proprietary data
- Conduct research in multiview sensor fusion to ensure system redundancy, robustness, and safety under critical conditions
- Advance scene understanding capabilities with an emphasis on identifying anomalous events
- Evaluate model performance through structured experimentation and communicate results, possibly for academic publication
- Process and analyze multimodal sensor data—including camera, lidar, and radar—collected from multiagent autonomous platforms
