Responsibilities
- Design and implement state-of-the-art artificial intelligence and machine learning models within the perception pipeline to process data from diverse sensors.
- Build software interfaces to enable autonomous operation and control of various sensor types, including electro-optical, infrared, acoustic, radar, and radio frequency systems.
- Partner with sensor, tracking, and autonomy groups to ensure smooth deployment of mixed-platform swarms during on-site Department of Defense testing and demonstrations.
- Deploy container-based applications to embedded Linux hardware, using hardware-in-the-loop methods for testing, performance monitoring, and data collection.
- Engage directly with Department of Defense stakeholders to understand operational needs, requirements, and priorities during field events to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess, prioritize, and resolve technical challenges and project scope.
- Maintain clear, consistent documentation and communication of project status to support agility in fast-moving environments and to update external clients.
- Lead development and execution of simulation tools to replay sensor data, platform movements, and autonomy behaviors for post-test analysis.
- Formulate and execute plans for system improvements based on insights from simulation results and customer input.
Work Arrangement
On-site positions available in Sunnyvale, California; Washington, D.C.; San Diego; Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan; London; Stuttgart; Munich; Stockholm; Bangalore; Seoul; Tokyo
Travel Requirements
Must be willing to travel as needed for hardware and software integration or live demonstrations, typically every 1-2 months for 2-5 days (approximately 10-20% travel).
