Waymark is hiring a People Operations Manager

About the Role

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day people operations, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring HR systems and practices are efficient and scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding procedures for new and departing employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HR information systems
  • Support payroll coordination and timekeeping processes
  • Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Coordinate HR audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Track and report on key people metrics and HR operational data
  • Partner with managers on employee relations matters
  • Administer performance review cycles and tracking
  • Support organizational change initiatives and internal communications
  • Develop and improve HR workflows and operational efficiency
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about policies and benefits
  • Help maintain employee handbooks and policy documentation
  • Facilitate employee engagement efforts and culture-building activities
  • Assist in the implementation of new HR technologies and tools
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality in all HR records
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within HR operations
  • Track leave of absences and accommodations in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with external vendors for HR-related services
