Role Overview
A People Operations Generalist is needed to support the end-to-end employee journey, from onboarding through offboarding. This position ensures that HR processes are both compliant and responsive, operating smoothly within a growing and collaborative organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding, role changes, compensation updates, leave administration, and offboarding procedures.
- Respond to employee inquiries promptly, managing requests and ensuring timely resolution with clear communication.
- Keep employee records accurate, secure, and audit-ready in compliance with legal standards.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance initiatives, and integration efforts following mergers or acquisitions.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Recruiting, IT, Legal, and Finance teams to safeguard sensitive employee data.
- Work with technical partners to identify inefficiencies in systems and processes and implement improvements.
- Track project work systematically and deliver regular progress updates to leadership.
- Coordinate compliance training rollouts with Legal and IT, monitoring completion through follow-up outreach.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience managing and executing People Operations programs.
- Ability to independently manage high-volume administrative work with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel for reporting, data reconciliation, and auditing across multiple datasets.
- Track record of streamlining manual or outdated processes to improve team efficiency.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with external software providers.
- Familiarity with administering B2B contracts and global employment through PEO/EOR models.
- Background in immigration case management and work authorization compliance.
Technical Environment
Primary tools include Excel for data management and reporting.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote role with the requirement that the candidate reside in the Vancouver area.
