Responsibilities
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll for employees across various regions
- Verify timesheet submissions and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to reconcile payroll data
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information
- Support year-end reporting and tax filings
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions
- Assist with payroll audits and documentation requests
- Track paid time off and leave balances
- Monitor payroll system updates and changes
- Identify and correct payroll errors promptly
- Ensure accurate tax withholdings and filings
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with retention policies
- Onboard new employees into payroll systems
- Process wage garnishments and levies
- Coordinate with third-party payroll providers
- Support payroll process improvements
- Track employee status changes affecting pay
- Assist with payroll training for department staff
- Ensure adherence to labor laws in payroll practices
