Responsibilities
- Administers processing of organization's payroll and collects payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews timekeeping and payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of timesheets for payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, Project changes and changes to pay rates.
- Audits payroll information for accuracy.
- Reconciles payroll hours and earnings, tax withholdings, wage garnishments, and voluntary deductions.
- Participates in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department.
- Maintain employees’ current resource data in the all company systems.
- Monitors company Payroll email box and responds accurately and timely to all inquires.
- Work with Employees, Payroll, Information Technology, and Human Resources teams closely to resolve any timesheet and/or payroll related issues
- Generate various compliance reports regularly to ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets.
- Ad-hoc reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems. ADP preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- 1 - 2 years of payroll processing experience required.
- Strong quantitative skills, data analysis and spreadsheet knowledge.
- Solid customer relations skills and ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills a must.
- Must be self-motivated, strong problem solver, and High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
