As a Payroll Coordinator, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll process for employees in the United States and Canada. You'll ensure all payments are processed accurately and on schedule, serving as the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll data timely and accurately for US and Canadian employees
- Collaborate with third-party payroll providers by supplying required information and verifying outputs
- Respond to employee questions about pay, deductions, and tax documentation
- Support the administration of the company’s stock option plan
- Generate routine and on-demand reports for finance and leadership teams
- Assist during internal and external audits with payroll documentation and reconciliations
- Partner with HR and Finance to refine payroll workflows and strengthen compliance
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of experience in payroll or a related financial role
- Strong organizational skills and a consistent focus on accuracy
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Comfort working directly with employees to resolve payroll concerns
- Familiarity with labor regulations in both the US and Canada
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external advisors and internal partners
