Responsibilities
- Enroll newly affiliated providers into all applicable commercial insurance plans based on their market.
- Secure provider enrollment in both Medicare and Medicaid programs.
- Input the 'add to roster' date into the CredentialStream system.
- Record the 'submitted' and 'mailed' dates in CredentialStream for tracking purposes.
- Enter the 'effective' date in CredentialStream upon approval.
- Verify provider record details, including taxonomy and specialty codes, before application submission.
- Follow up with insurance carriers 30 days after submission and every two weeks thereafter until providers attain PAR status.
- Escalate unresolved enrollment issues to the manager for resolution.
- Coordinate consistently with the credentialing team to communicate onboarding timelines for new providers.
- Participate in revenue cycle management and payer-related meetings as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
