About the Role
This position leads payer engagement initiatives to drive coverage and reimbursement for innovative diagnostic solutions by collaborating with key stakeholders across health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic account planning for national and regional healthcare payers
- Develop and execute market access strategies to support product adoption
- Engage payer decision-makers to communicate clinical and economic value
- Support health economics and outcomes research dissemination to payer organizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market access goals
- Monitor payer policy trends impacting diagnostic reimbursement
- Deliver payer-focused presentations and scientific exchange materials
- Identify and respond to evidence requirements from coverage decision bodies
- Facilitate payer advisory boards and value demonstration initiatives
- Track and report on payer engagement outcomes and feedback
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all interactions
- Support development of health technology assessment submissions
- Build relationships with medical directors and pharmacy directors at health plans
- Coordinate with government affairs on Medicare and Medicaid policy issues
- Provide market insights to inform product and access strategy
- Participate in pricing and contracting discussions with payer organizations
- Support launch readiness activities for new diagnostic offerings
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer landscape and competitive dynamics
- Contribute to development of payer value dossiers and reimbursement tools
- Engage in pre-launch discussions with key payer accounts
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams on engagement protocols
- Represent market access perspective in commercial strategy meetings
- Drive adoption through targeted payer education campaigns
- Leverage health economics data to support payer discussions
- Manage travel to meet with payer clients and internal teams
