About the Role
The individual will provide direct support to faculty in course development and administration, focusing on organization, technology integration, and instructional design assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist instructors with preparation and organization of course materials
- Support the development of online course content using learning management systems
- Facilitate classroom technology setup for hybrid and in-person sessions
- Coordinate logistics for guest speakers and class events
- Maintain accurate records of course documentation and syllabi
- Respond to student inquiries related to course structure and assignments
- Help format and upload lecture materials to digital platforms
- Provide guidance on academic policies and procedures to students
- Assist with assessment creation and grading support tasks
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during instructional sessions
- Collaborate with faculty to align course content with learning objectives
- Ensure accessibility standards are met in instructional materials
- Track course evaluations and compile feedback summaries
- Support faculty training on new teaching tools and platforms
- Manage scheduling for classroom and resource reservations
- Organize digital repositories for course-related documents
- Assist with the onboarding of new teaching staff
- Monitor student engagement metrics and report trends
- Prepare reports on course delivery performance
- Maintain confidentiality of academic and student records
- Stay current with instructional technology advancements
- Support curriculum review and revision processes
- Coordinate textbook and resource procurement
- Facilitate communication between faculty and administrative units
- Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practices
