Join a growing industrial solutions team as an Outside Sales Representative serving the Chicago and Milwaukee regions. In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for customers, visiting facilities to assess needs, recommend effective product applications, and support long-term account growth. Your work directly contributes to improving workplace environments by enhancing comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet with existing and prospective customers in person.
- Conduct detailed facility assessments to understand environmental and operational challenges.
- Deliver customized recommendations based on customer-specific requirements and space configurations.
- Log all site data and interactions in the CRM system to ensure accurate account tracking and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate installations and respond to customer needs promptly.
- Follow up post-installation to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Maintain a professional presence and represent company values during every customer engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven track record in outside sales, with experience managing client relationships independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without direct supervision.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms—Salesforce experience is preferred.
- Reliable driving record and willingness to operate a company-branded vehicle (sedan, SUV, or pickup).
- Ability to spend extended periods driving and navigating between sites, including multi-day travel requiring overnight stays.
- Physical capability to stand or walk for up to six hours during site visits, with occasional kneeling for measurements.
- Residency within the Chicago–Milwaukee sales territory is required.
Preferred Background
- Experience in industrial or B2B product sales.
- Spanish language proficiency is highly valued.
- Familiarity with CAD software, engineering drawings, or building plans is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary between $70,000 and $73,000, with uncapped commission potential based on performance. Additional benefits include a dedicated company vehicle, branded apparel and gear, and access to specialized training programs. Selected team members may attend in-person development sessions in Lexington, KY. Work Environment
This is a remote role with significant travel expectations—typically three days and two nights per week in hotels during peak periods. You must live within the designated territory and be available for frequent overnight trips.
